Star Wars RP Rules


1.0 General Rules


1.1: Do not RDM (Random Deathmatch).

1.2: Do not MetaGame (Using OOC chat for IC purposes or vise versa, i.e using OOC chat in advert) (Same rule applies for LOOC and IC)

1.3: No Prop climbing or Prop block (unless its a ladder)

1.4: Do not FailRP.

1.5: Make sure to treat all players with respect (Unless in roleplay).

1.5.1: Even when in roleplay do not use racial, anti semitic or other types language that would not be suitable in a Star Wars roleplay environment.

1.6: We have a 0 tolerance for advertising other servers.

1.7: No hacking or cheating.

1.8: No racist/homophobic/offensive language is allowed.

1.9: You will be permanently banned if you try to loophole rules and find workarounds, so don't.

1.10: Don't run around shooting your weapon for no reason.

1.11: No minging or trolling, doing so will cause an instant ban , we don't want any minges or trolls on a serious RP server, however this maybe upgraded to a permanent ban if a high ranking staff member feel the punishment if is fit for your rule breaking

1.12: Don't have your physgun or gravity gun equipped ever, unless for a legit reason, such as building for/with one of the commanders.

1.13: No non roleplay name such as [Commander Cody], [Captain Rex], [Darth Vader] etc, if a staff member finds you with this they will request you to change it, if you refuse it will result in a much more severe punishment. If a staff member deems your name innapropriate and asks you to change it, do not argue, just change it otherwise you will be warned. If you continue to refuse they will force change it and if you change it back you will be kicked/banned.

1.14: Saying something is the same as typing, Typing is defined as saying as some people do not have mics.


2.0 SWRP Related Rules


2.1.1: Always listen to your Commander and above.

2.1.2: You must salute anyone LT+ (this includes 2nd LT) if you are beneath their rank.

2.2: Do not spam /advert, don't advert OOC related stuff.

2.2.1: Fleet are exempt from this rule if and only if they are calling units to debrief

2.2.2: Do not spam // (OOC), do not use the OOC chat for IC related things i.e Asking some to come to a specific area on the ship.

2.2.3 Do not spam ooc with complaints about anything, put them in PMs to the appropriate people or make a post on the forums. It is annoying and if you do it you will be muted/warned

2.3: For IC actions, use /me, e.g /me salutes, only use /me for IC uses like saluting or stripping weapons and comms, any other use of /me deemed inappropriate by a staff member will result in a punishment.

2.3.1: Do not use inappropriate /me actions e.g /me flips off Fleet or /me Pulls out dick.

2.4: You can not go rogue or rebel for the fun of it.

2.5: If a Jedi is fighting an enemy do NOT shoot at them, you may risk hitting the Jedi.

2.6: Cadets are not allowed outside their spawn room, if they go outside they can be arrested, except when their with a trainer.

2.7: You are in not allowed to change your job name name, /job, unless they have meet the following criteria

2.7.1: Changing your job to fit in with a Lore Friendly part of your regiment.

2.7.2: You have been selected to take part in an event and you have been instructed to change your job name.

2.8: You are not allowed a 'second character', for example if you are a member of fleet you are not allowed to join a regiment as a clone. This doesn't apply if you want to RP as Jedi, you may change to Jedi from fleet but you MUST change your name and spend the large majority (85%+) of your time as fleet - this goes for any fleet rank


3.0 Regiment Rules


3.1: You may not change regiment if you have joined less than 5 days prior. E.g if you just joined ARC, you have to wait 5 days before joining another regiment. This is to avoid confusion between regiments unless you meet the following the criteria:

3.1.1: You have been demoted from the Regiment by a Commander or battalion general.

3.1.2: If a Battalion General has granted you access to be exempt from this rule.

3.2: Only Regiment Commanders or EXOs (with permission from a Commander or Vice Commander) may host tryouts.

3.3: You have to listen to anyone who is a higher rank than you in the regiment you're a part of.

3.4: If you are EXO+ (or equivalent, for example, OS gunners/recons), you MUST inform a Battalion General before you leave a regiment.

3.4.1: If you wish to transfer your rank to another regiment, the only 2 ranks that can allow this are the battalion general and the Grand Admiral.


4.0 Jedi Rules


4.1: Lightsaber length must be 42 length and 2 width

4.2: You must always listen to your Jedi higher up

4.3: You must roleplay in a serious manner upholding the Jedi morals, i.e Do not threaten people or act aggressively

4.4: Your role as a Jedi General is to command the Jedi Forces & your Regiment, and advise other commanders / Fleet.

4.5: You may only pull out your lightsaber if in training or in dangerous situations, this can relate back to rule 4.3, which would mean that you would try to defuse the situation rather than escalate it.

4.6: If you are a Jedi Youngling, wait in the Jedi room to be trained by a Knight+.

4.7: Jedi Generals or select Jedi Masters may take Padawans to train up to the rank of Knight.

4.8.1: Unless you are a Jedi General or Specialized Master, You must use the Common Jedi Lightsaber Hilt.

4.8.2: Nobody, including Jedi Generals, may use Count Dooku's, Palpatine's or Vader's custom hilts.

4.8.3: All Jedi Padawans and Knights must use a BLUE (RGB: 48, 48, 255) Lightsaber.

4.8.4: Jedi Masters can become specialized in certain areas, which have different Lightsaber Colours or Style. You must see Grandmaster Yoda regarding Specialization.

4.9: All Jedi, other than Grandmaster Yoda, must report to the council (or to the Grandmaster) if they would like to promote somebody to Knight or Master - this includes all members of the council. Only Yoda may promote people without consulting the council. (This does't include Youngling > Padawan promotion)


5.0 Event Rules


5.1: Listen to the staff, what they're saying is important.

5.2: Do not just fool around, always stick to whoever is leading your troop.

5.3: All events are planned by Senior Admin+ and granted permission by hierarchy, you may not just create random events on the ship. If you do this you will be warned for PME (Player made event)

5.4: Failing to follow these rules will get you banned from the server whilst the event is ongoing.

5.5: If you do not follow orders from Staff and Commanders you will be removed from the event [people will want your space]

5.6: If you are caught not listening to staffs orders that you have been instructed to do so you will be kicked off the server and will not be allowed to re-participate in the event


6.0 Admin Sit Rules


6.1: Listen to the Staff, do as they say and do not argue with them.

6.2: If you are unsatisfied with a staff member’s performance, don’t start an argument; take it to the forums @ Admin Report Area

6.3: Do NOT insult the staff, they are dedicating their time to helping the server.


Breaking Any Of The Rules Above Will Result In Punishment
